Amy Banks, M.D. specializes in psychotherapy with people who suffer from chronic disconnection, but she wrote the book Wired to Connect: The Surprising Link Between Brain Science and Strong, Healthy Relationships to help all of us see how we can improve our relationships by rewiring our brain. After being an instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, she now has a private practice and is also the director of Advanced Training at the Jean Baker Miller Training Institute at the Wellesley Centers for Women.
