We are hungry for deeper friendships.

We know more people than ever, and yet still feel less known.

With 75% of women wishing for more in their friendships, it's time to do something about it.

I bring together the women who not only know just how important better friendships are, but who are also willing to do something about it! Come be inspired.

CONNECTION MATTERS

I am not aware of any other factor in medicine - not diet, not smoking, not exercise, not stress, not genetics, not drugs, not surgery - that has a greater impact [than love and intimacy] on our quality of life, incidence of illness, and premature death from all causes.
— Dean Ornish, M.D., New York Times bestseller and world-renowned physician

and yet...most of us feel disconnected

Exercise is a good metaphor for meaningful friendships…We go in to a gym expecting exhaustion and discomfort — even wanting it!— as proof of our exertion. We understand our physical health requires intention and energy. Unfortunately, far too many of us don’t realize the same is true for friendships, too. We have forgotten that relational health doesn’t just happen to us without emotional sweat, practice, or effort. It’s time to remember that we can learn to create the friendships that really matter in our lives.

who leads our community?

The healthiest women among us aren't the ones ignoring their sense of disconnection, rationalizing it, or hoping it will just go away on it's own. We may not have been taught how to do friendship as kids, but the women who are emotionally intelligent enough to hear the hunger of their body for more connection and support will also be the ones who acknowledge they're ready to put action behind that hope.

My calling in this world is to bring women together and teach them how to create the frientimacy--friendship intimacy-- in their lives that will improve their health, increase their longevity, and fill their lives with the happiness and peace that comes with being supported.

I would love nothing more than to teach you tangible friendship skills, challenge you to try new ways of connecting, inspire you with fun ideas, and encourage you with advice and support as you pay attention to creating healthy friendships!

Let's focus the next 12 months of your life to building greater friendships as though your life depends on it. Because it does.

We've got this, GirlFriend,

xoxo,

Shasta
