Our Friendship Contributions and Challenges Based on Enneagram

We know that the majority of us are lonely, that every relationship needs the The Three Requirements (Positivity, Consistency, and Vulnerability), and that we all have something to offer our friends— but did you know that how we experience each of those things will be different based on our own unique wiring?

Have you taken the Enneagram personality test before?

I've been studying it for over a decade, but just recently decided I'd make a video series based on it! :) I've been thinking how we might each increase the Frientimacy in our lives based on our Type.

The Enneagram is one of my favorite assessments as it can show us what motivates us, what we fear, what we desire, shows us how we tend to act under stress, and inspires us to see what the healthiest expression of our type can look like on us!

While many of us worry about a test like this "boxing us in," I find it to do the opposite: it shows us what box we're already somewhat-blindly living in and invites us to increase our awareness in such a way that can actually pull us out of our default patterns.

So maybe you want to take a free Enneagram test here and then do a deep dive to see how your unique wiring might contributes and/or limit your friendships. Once we see our tendency, we can begin to practice more of what might make our friendships more meaningful!

Over 60% of us feel lonely, but we don’t all feel lonely for the same reasons.

We’re afraid of different things so it’s understandable that we might each protect ourselves in different ways.

Some of us are more naturally positive than others, but ALL of us have to learn how to add more positive feelings into our friendships based on who we are.

Every friendship needs us showing up consistently to built trust, but each of us will struggle to do this for different reasons.

How we might be best contributing to those we love, and what we might expect from each of our friends, is all different based on our Type!
